This has been by far the most relaxed we’ve seen the Mselekus this season, and what a sight. In an effort to do something different, the man of the household took it upon himself to book his family a camping trip with a touch of glam.

On arrival the family was welcomed by tents that gave glamping, and which would be their home for a couple of days while they bonded and let loose. Here are some of our favourite moments from the trip.

Mnini showed up

Ahead of the trip, Mseleku was met with a sad Mnini, who had tears in his eyes after overhearing an unpleasant conversation about his mother, MaYeni, possibly not making the trip. After much convincing from his father to stay behind and wait for his mother, tables turned when they showed up later in the evening and confirmed that his son simply misunderstood the situation.

Mseleku got everyone in one place

With everyone’s busy schedules, it’s rare to assemble everyone at the same time but it finally happened. Even though MaCele, as per usual, decided to sit this one out, the rest of the wives and their children were able to bask in the sun and have fun.

Fun times with the wives

To say it’s been tense between Mseleku and his wives would be an understatement. The change of scenery however, had a positive impact on everyone and encouraged fun. Clay and an active imagination are all that they needed to let loose and mould interesting objects, leading to a lot of laughter.

Dance around the fire

The unity that Mseleku preaches and hopes to see in his family came alive when everyone gathered around the fire after a day full of games. Before he retired to his room, he sat and watched in pure joy as his wives and children started singing, dancing, and living in the moment.

This was a precious moment that pulled at everyone’s heartstrings.
