In the inaugural season of the critically acclaimed Mzansi Magic series Shaka iLembe the show not only captivated audiences but also significantly reshaped the landscape of South African television. Beyond his iconic role in Shaka iLembe, Mthembu has demonstrated his versatile acting prowess across several popular productions, including The River, Outlaws, and Adulting. Each role has showcased different facets of his talent, confirming his status as a multi-dimensional actor.

Beginning on Monday 28 July, he will make his debut in Mzansi Wethu's groundbreaking new telenovela, Homecoming. In this compelling series, he takes on the role of Sifiso Kubheka, a character who embodies a complex duality as a dedicated police officer by day and a traditional healer by night. This multifaceted role not only highlights Mthembu's range as an actor but also emphasises his remarkable ability to convey compelling narratives that connect with diverse audiences.
