Day 16: A sisterhood of division – BBMzansi

It seems to be us against us in Biggie’s house.
A group of happy singing friends

Three weeks in, and Big Brother Mzansi is serving drama hotter than your favourite street kotas. The game plans are starting to show – or in some cases, unravel. While the gents seem to have a (semi-shaky) bro-code in place, the ladies are out here throwing grenades at each other. Let’s break it down.

This season, the men have been loudly preaching unity, hosting countless men’s conferences and promising to dodge the ladies’ drama. But actions speak louder than words, and last night's nominations said it all.

Sweet Guluva, Swiss, Muzi-TheMbuzi, Luzuko, and Tyrone stuck to the script, nominating only the ladies. Snakes in the grass, though? Uyanda was the odd one out, putting two guys up for eviction. Does Biggie’s house have a mole in the boys’ club? 🐍

Let’s not sugarcoat it – the sisterhood is in shambles. While the gents are (mostly) sticking together, the ladies are happily nominating each other with the precision of surgeons. Siphesihle, Kay B, Mata, Nsuku, and Jojo all targeted two women during nominations.

But the real tea? The ladies’ garden “conference” today turned into a clapback session featuring Jojo and Siphesihle.

Siphesihle feels betrayed by Jojo over a prank gone rogue – a friendship casualty that still stings. Jojo, once Siphesihle’s closest confidant, now feels like a distant memory. “I guess I’m out of her life,” Jojo said to Ezra, who bluntly replied, “Good.” Yikes, Ezra, maybe work on your bedside manner? 🫣

Watch Jojo's prank here:

Jojo’s attempt to apologise fell on deaf ears. Siphesihle, along with Mandy Hagan, believes Jojo hasn’t truly taken responsibility for her actions. Mandy Hagan even spilled that Jojo’s lack of accountability caused confusion, with some housemates wrongly blaming Siphesihle for the incident. Messy boots alert! 👢

By the end of the garden conference, Jojo threw her own jab in nominations, calling Siphesihle her biggest competitor because of their similar personalities. Plot twist much?

United by music (for now)

After all the chaos, the housemates finally found a moment of peace through song. Last night’s rendition of “guys versus girls” may have started as playful jabs – "the girls can’t cook” vs. “the guys stink” 👀 – but it ended in a beautiful harmony. They belted out We Are Family by The Soil and Emlanjeni by Mafikizolo, bringing the house together in celebration of music week. The kumbaya vibes were cute, but let’s be real – how long will it last?

The boys have picked their battles, but will the ladies ever decide who the real enemy is? Or will the shots keep flying in all directions? With so many simmering tensions, one thing is certain: Biggie’s house is a ticking time bomb. 💣

Stay tuned, because this sisterhood of division isn’t done bringing the drama yet! 👀
