News12 March 2026
A fun look at the famous faces who reflect their personalities and energy.
Housemates top 8

The Housemates took a moment to reflect on their personalities by naming celebrities they believe share the same aura, confidence and life outlook. From global music icons to influential entertainers, each choice offered insight into how they see themselves – their strengths, their journeys and the energy they bring to the house.

Ashay reflected he shares the same vibrant energy as Kevin Hart, the American comedian and Hollywood actor famous for his high-energy humour and blockbuster films. Like Hart, Ashay enjoys making people smile, laugh and feel good, bringing light-heartedness wherever he goes.

Bravo B connects with the late South African rap icon Supa Mega (AKA), whose confidence and stage presence were unforgettable. He also relates to Khuzani Mpungose, the proudly South African Maskandi star known as the “King of Bhinca Nation”, admired for his cultural influence and commanding presence.

Didi sees herself in Cyan Boujee, the South African DJ and influencer known for her bold beauty, glamorous image and carefree confidence. She admires Cyan’s unbothered nature and striking presence, qualities she feels she embodies – or is steadily growing into.

Liema resonates with global superstar Rihanna, the Barbadian singer, businesswoman and fashion mogul. She admires Rihanna’s journey, fearless self-expression and unapologetic confidence. To Liema, Rihanna represents freedom, ambition and the power of embracing one’s true self.

Mmeli identifies with American rapper Vince Staples, known for his sharp wit, private lifestyle and understated fashion sense. Like Staples, Mmeli appreciates simplicity, keeps his personal life guarded and feels his sarcastic humour can sometimes be misunderstood.

Que draws inspiration from the late South African rapper and fashion trailblazer Riky Rick (Rikhado Makhado). He admires Rick’s bold fashion choices, dedication to family and natural ability to connect with people. Que relates to his fearless pursuit of dreams and strong sense of identity.

Thandeka chose Angelina Jolie, the acclaimed American actress, filmmaker and humanitarian. She respects Jolie’s ability to balance global stardom with meaningful humanitarian work, reflecting a blend of compassion, strength and grace.

Trixie says her aura mirrors Cardi B, the American rapper and entertainer celebrated for her bold personality and unfiltered authenticity. Trixie appreciates Cardi B’s realness and confidence, embracing the idea of being unapologetically oneself.

The Housemates’ choices highlight more than admiration for celebrity lifestyles — they reveal personal values, aspirations and the traits they proudly carry. Whether it’s humour, resilience, cultural pride or fearless authenticity, each comparison paints a clearer picture of the distinct personalities lighting up the house.
