The day has been relaxed in the house, but as wager preparations got underway, housemates shared mixed views on the final wager, with discussions around the brief and its meaning taking centre stage.
Thandeka and Que unpacked the wager, particularly the legacy aspect, which refers to former housemates. Thandeka pointed out that wagers are often misunderstood, explaining that this time around, housemates seemed to think they needed to impersonate ex housemates. She clarified that, in her view, the task is more about highlighting the impact those housemates had during their time in the house.
Que later gathered everyone in the lounge for a meeting to align on their approach. As Trixie suggested that they should act like the former housemates, Thandeka stepped in with a different perspective. She proposed that they focus on each housemate’s journey, from their lives outside the house to their growth during the show. The discussion was cut short when diary sessions began.
Meanwhile, Didi and Bravo B reflected on the intensity of the previous week, describing it as a crucial period in the competition. Bravo B said the jacuzzi serves as a reminder of the ice water challenge, which he found particularly difficult. He shared that he had been hard on himself for not pushing through, as it could have earned him a golden ticket to the finale. Despite this, he expressed gratitude for making it to the final week regardless.
Bravo B also revealed that he initially believed the competition would end with a top eight, given the number of strong personalities in the house last week. Didi highlighted on the reality of the final week, noting that while it is an achievement to have made it this far, only one housemate will walk away with the prize money. She added that it would have been rewarding if everyone could receive a share.
Biggie then took housemates back to a task from week four, where they were asked to say affirmations. As they stood in front of the mirror and spoke life into themselves, emotions ran high. Liema, Thandeka and Trixie were visibly emotional, while Didi remained upbeat and full of energy. Bravo B turned his affirmation into a rap, bringing his own flair to the moment, while Que placed his hand on his chest as he spoke with conviction.
With only a few days left until the finale, anticipation continues to build as the race to crown the winner nears its end.
