As the finale approaches, the diary room is becoming a place of honesty, reflection, and raw emotion. The remaining housemates are taking time to unpack their journeys – sharing pride, regret, gratitude, and hopes for life beyond the house.
Thandeka’s session was deeply emotional and reflective. She began playfully, asking Big Sister for a moment to apply blush before getting serious about her journey. She expressed pride in reaching the Top 6, saying her supporters gave her the strength to secure her Golden Ticket and that she believes they would have carried her to the finale even if she faced eviction.
She credited Que and Bravo B for earning their spots and reflected on the nomination patterns in the house. However, her tone shifted as she opened up about regret over a recent misunderstanding, wishing she had handled the situation with more maturity and spent more time with someone she cared about. Overcome with emotion, she admitted that the moment still weighs heavily on her.
Thandeka described moving to a new country as a turning point that built her resilience, explaining that life in the house forced her to cope without familiar comforts. She spoke about staying true to herself, relying on facts rather than emotion, and persevering despite life’s hardships. While she warned critics not to provoke her, she maintained that she is proud of standing in her truth.
She believes many of her bonds will survive outside the house, including her friendships with Que and Bravo B, and remains open to reconciliation with others. For Thandeka, the experience itself feels like a victory, and she leaves the journey grateful for having found someone special to love.
Que’s diary room moment was filled with gratitude and pride. He described making the top 6 as an incredible achievement and said the affirmations throughout the season carried deep personal meaning. Overjoyed, he used the word “umnandi” to capture his happiness.
He praised Thandeka and Bravo B for earning their places through determination and resilience, acknowledging Thandeka’s strength despite facing frequent nominations. He also noted Bravo B’s advantage as a returning housemate and expressed surprise at Trixie’s journey, saying she often doubted herself despite consistently pushing through.
Que shared that preparation for the finale is going well and that the experience has revealed his own resilience and survival instinct. He listed several housemates he hopes to remain close to outside the house, valuing the lessons and positivity they bring into his life.
Regardless of the outcome, Que says he will leave with his dignity and pride intact – already feeling like a winner.
Didi entered the diary room with a strong sense of accomplishment and gratitude. She reflected on a promise she and Que made to reach the later stages of the competition and described making the finale week as a major personal achievement. After feeling anxious in previous weeks, she now embraces her progress with pride.
She commended Trixie’s determination, noting how she overcame doubt and pushed herself physically and mentally during challenging tasks. Didi also spoke about shifting her mindset after difficult moments, reminding herself that she is competing for her son and her future.
While she said none of the finalists surprised her, she acknowledged the unique journeys each housemate has taken. Didi admitted she is weary of certain responsibilities in the house and prefers to keep her aspirations private. Still, she remains focused on the ultimate prize.
Looking ahead, she named several housemates she intends to maintain friendships with after the show. Despite feeling that returning housemates had certain advantages, she takes pride in proving doubters wrong and reaching the finale. For Didi, making the Top 6 is validation of her strength and perseverance.
As the finale nears, the diary sessions reveal one truth: beyond the competition, each housemate carries a deeply personal story of growth, resilience and hope for what lies ahead.
