Tonight’s live show was nothing short of intense, packed with high-stakes energy as the finale week approaches.

The night delivered tension, surprises, and a touch of drama. During the first crossover, it was confirmed that Didi is safe, after which Smash Afrika asked Ashay how he felt about winning the Head of House (HoH) challenge without immunity. Ashay explained that it was all part of the game, noting that before the HoH challenge, they knew immunity would not come with victory.

Who was evicted?

The mood shifted immediately after the first house crossing when the first eviction of the night was announced. Ashay’s journey in the house came to an end, closing a chapter that saw him reign as HoH three times in a row and secured seven task wins.

Moments later, Mmeli was announced as the next housemate to leave the house. As Smash Afrika delivered the news, housemates were visibly shocked. Thandeka quickly stepped forward to kiss Mmeli goodbye, and the rest of the house joined in with hugs as he made his exit.

What did they say to Smash Afrika?

After weeks of navigating the competition and chasing the grand prize, Ashay told Smash Afrika that he was proud of his journey after reflecting on his highlight. He thanked everyone who supported him, admitting that he never expected to make it this far. Ashay described himself as an underdog, coming from a small and relatively unknown place.

Meanwhile, Mmeli expressed gratitude to those who kept him in the house till week nine. On stage, he told Smash Afrika that he had not expected to get this far, admitting that he thought he would be gone by week four.

Who left the house before them?

The previous week marked the departures of King Wanda and The Don.

How many housemates remain?

In week nine, this crucial round of voting proved decisive, ultimately determining which housemates would secure their place in the finale. With only six housemates remaining and just one week until the winner is crowned, the race for the R2-million prize has reached a critical stage.

How did Mzansi vote?

Viewers made their voices heard this week, sending shockwaves through the house. Ashay, Mmeli, and Didi found themselves in the bottom three, and the winner’s spot remains undecided. Voting lines are now officially open, and it’s up to South Africa to decide who will take home the crown.
