This is what went down in the latest live show ...
The 10th live show of the season was nothing short of a spectacle, with high-energy performances from tonight’s Queen of Umlilo, Makhadzi, the host with the most, Smash Afrika, and a funny crew of comedians to give us a good laugh before hearts broke. With just one week left until the grand finale, the competition reached a fever pitch as three housemates saw their journey come to an end, leaving us with our official Top 5. As the dust settles and the remaining housemates set their sights on the ultimate prize, the countdown to the finale is officially on.
Evicted housemates:
Abobo was the first housemate to be shown the door of Biggie’s house tonight, followed by Siphesihle and Mshini, leaving us with the top five of the season!
Watch their journeys:
What did they say on stage with Smash Afrika?
Abobo reflected on his journey in the house with a mix of pride and disbelief. “I am just proud of myself, to be honest, for making it this far. It was really challenging – it’s not child’s play to be in that house, you know, mentally and physically,” he shared. When asked about his next steps, Abobo was clear: “Spend time with my family, my partner, and my baby – definitely, without a doubt.”
Smash Afrika acknowledged Siphesihle's impressive run, and she couldn’t hide her emotions. “I am extremely humbled and so grateful. I didn’t think I would make it this far. I am shocked and obviously sad to leave, but you know, I’m shocked I even made it this far, Smash, and that’s the truth.” She went on to reveal a personal milestone: “I did R7 200. Struggling to put her emotions into words, Mshini admitted, “You know what, Smash? I am in disbelief – ay, andikholwa! But eish, there is nothing else I can say except that I am grateful for whatever opportunity I got. I’m actually about to chop onions, but ay, ngeke ngikhale.
Who left the house before them?
Last week, the house said goodbye to Beekay and Swiss.
How many housemates remain?
Five housemates remain in the house as they journey towards the finale stage where the ultimate King or Queen of Umlilo, the season's winner, will be crowned.
