Mzansi Wethu is launching The Ones with TBose, a dynamic new talk show that bridges local and global cultures with a unique spin.
Hosted by the iconic Thabo "TBose" Mokwele, the show will delve deep into the lives and stories of influential figures across a broad spectrum of industries, from arts and entertainment to politics, lifestyle and beyond.
TBose, a broadcasting veteran with over 30 years of experience, promises to bring his sharp interviewing skills to the forefront, offering audiences intimate insights into the lives of those who have shaped history.
The Ones with TBose is not just a talk show, it's a celebration of key moments, milestones, and people who have had a lasting impact on Mzansi and the world. From the one song that defined a generation to the one idea that sparked a movement, this show highlights the power of a single individual, thought or moment that led to greatness.
“Mzansi is a nation filled with untold stories, rich in culture and constantly creating history. The Ones with Tbose taps into the heartbeat of this dynamic society, aiming to showcase the journey that propelled these individuals to success,” says Shirley Adonisi, director of local channels at M-Net. “This is sure to be a breath of fresh air for our viewers and we are looking forward to the stories offering both entertainment and insightful content.”
Whether it’s an iconic figure or an everyday person with an extraordinary story, The Ones with Tbose will connect the dots between personal ambition and achievements that mark the individual’s success.
With music as a narrative tool, the show explores how sound and culture interconnect, helping to shape who we are as a nation. Guests will include figures with global appeal but who remain deeply connected to Mzansi, legends such as actor Baba John Kani, musician Thandiswa Mazwai, comedian Trevor Noah, DJ Black Coffee, singer Zakes Bantwini, and many others from different fields of achievement.
Don’t miss out on The Ones with TBose coming to Mzansi Wethu (DStv channel 163) from Sunday 30 March at 18:00.
