The couples have had a bumpy ride and needed advice as soon as they moved in together. Who better to give advice than the experts who matched them?

Gems have been dropped in their therapy sessions and many of them have been engraved.

The starting point is to unlearn bad habits

The couples came into this experiment as individuals who had different habits and ways of living, and Pastor X started off strong by encouraging them to unlearn. Unlearning is the first step to a healthy relationship and will open great communication and understanding between the couples and give them a fair chance at making it.

Pain engulfs you

Thabang sat for a very powerful therapy session where she showed Nkululeko and Makoto a visual representation of how pain wraps you up and can inform everything that you are. Stepping into a marriage with pain from the past stands to ruin it before it even takes off. She implored them to let go and give their union the chance to be the best decision of their lives.

Invest in the play

The topic of intimacy and attraction has been a big talking point this season and, in this case, Portia needed her feelings about her partner to be known. Dr Mpume was ready to offer her advice as she is well-versed in this field. She was quick to put the couple at ease with games that helped them get to know each other in every way, instead of focusing on getting intimate. That will come in time, and it will be more amazing for it and worth the wait.

Give each other graceExpert couple the Yendes gave the pearls of wisdom the couples needed the most: give each other some grace because you are all new to this. They made them see that issues should be tackled together instead of attacking one another and causing unnecessary rifts. They left the couples with food for thought.

It has been beautiful to learn through the couples and the lessons keep coming.
