The house was buzzing with nomination talks today. It looks like Philile and Siphesihle are still low key processing the shock of hearing their names called during the nomination announcements.
As the reality of their nominations set in, the duo is convinced that their no plotting strategy is exactly what got them on the dreaded list. Siphesihle said they didn’t play the game like the others, saying they were all about no drama, no alliances and that’s the price they've had to pay for keeping it real.
Siphesihle believes empathy should come before the game, and she’s not here for how people have been moving in the house. Siphesihle told Philile that she is still shaken after hearing some names on the chopping block.
Meanwhile Luzuko took a moment to check in on Gugu earlier, but things got a little spicy during their chat. He started off reminiscing about how they got along in the first week, but then threw a little shade, mentioning how Gugu started paying attention to other 'Ben 10s'. Was Luzuko flirting, or just throwing a little jab at Gugu’s age? Gugu, however, kept it real admitting that things have been hectic in the house. She told him that she had her share of altercations with a lot of the housemates, and the nomination was a major wake up call for her.
Gugu told him that she had a dream that shook her to the core and it was about the conflicts in the house. She said the dream gave her a big realisation that she’s meant to be here, but she needs to start doing things differently. Looks like this dream was Gugu's sign to realign, change her game, and come back stronger.
Beekay and Nate are getting closer by the day, and their conversation took a deep turn into friendships versus relationships. Nate opened up, saying she’s built some solid friendships in the house, but she’s always on guard when it comes to mixing the two.
She said her biggest fear is catching feelings for a friend and risking the whole friendship for it to only lead to a failed relationship. She’s all about keeping things platonic and building stronger bonds that way.
Beekay totally vibed with Nate's thoughts, and reflected on his own failed friendship with Nsuku. He told Nate how he had a solid bond with Nsuku, to a point where he even begged her not to let any feelings ruin their friendship, but after he let her know he wasn’t romantically into her, that friendship crumbled faster than you can say awkward. Beekay said he’s lowkey hurt because they really clicked.
There’s still more time till the Sunday eviction, and things are far from settled. We’re about to see whether their alliances can survive the chaos of the week ahead.
