19 March 2025
The race is on and who will conquer and claim the crown?
housemates

The Big Brother housemates have fought tooth and nail to get this far, and now the real battle begins. With the crown on the line, who’s ready to rise, dominate, and snatch that victory? Let’s take a closer look at how these contenders gave it their all to make it to this moment.

Jojo – The game-changer

Making it to the top five is no small feat, it's a true mark of grit and determination. Jojo snatches the title of the most strategic player in the game. When no one saw it coming, she blindsided the Bandana Boys during her reign as Head of House, ensuring that they are all up for nomination. The public couldn’t get enough of how she played the game with finesse and took control. But that’s not all, she’s the only housemate to win HoH twice this season. As the saying goes, "dynamites come in small packages," and the youngest in the Umlilo pack proved that age is just a number. She outwitted, outplayed, and fought her way to the top, but here’s the big question: Did she do enough to claim the crown?

Nate – The pot stirrer in disguise

The operator who worked in the shadows and rose to the top—Nate, the smooth operator, effortlessly paved her way to the peak. With little effort, she became the subtle whisperer that sparked drama, keeping the public on their toes. People couldn’t get enough of her jaw-dropping makeup looks and her knack for stirring the pot without ever claiming the title of "chef." She knew just how to make waves, never overdoing it, but always doing enough to stay the talk of the town. Forget about winning games and challenges, her ability to serve killer looks and dish out spicy drama behind the scenes was all it took. And now, she proudly stands as part of the Umlilo top 5.

Nsuku – The unshakable force

The one who’s stood tall, week after week, and conquered it all, Nsuku, the epitome of emotional nonchalance. A fierce competitor in the arena, she’s been that female powerhouse always gunning for greatness, with her unshakable tenacity earning major props. Her character always controversial as ever, yet somehow the public can’t get enough, and here she is still standing in the final week. Some housemates loved her, others couldn’t stand her, but one thing’s for sure, her unapologetic stance locked her spot. As Head of House, she ran a tight ship, turning the house into what felt like a military camp for some, where it was her rules or nothing. After surviving countless eviction weeks she’s proven she’s here to fight till the end.

Sweet Guluva – The silent competitor

Not much was said, but a whole lot was delivered. Sweet Guluva kicked off the season with a bang, securing two wins in the first week. He started out as a man of few words, but his winning streak quickly did the talking. Competitive in the arena, his drive set him apart, earning him wins that outshone his fellow housemates. The public fell hard for him during his days with his girlfriend Ash-ley Ogle, and their support has been unwavering ever since. He seamlessly morphed into the house's funny guy, with housemates absolutely loving him. Add to that his impressive sewing skills, and it’s clear, Sweet Guluva’s personality spoke louder than words, carrying him through the season and landing him at the top.

Uyanda – The fierce rival

Fearless in every challenge and ruthless in every altercation, Uyanda has sparked countless conversations and earned a deep following from the public in his pursuit of the crown. He started strong, relentlessly gunning for the Head of House title, but time and time again, he kept falling short. Yet, it was these very setbacks that led him to where he stands today. Always fighting to be the best, he finally clinched a Friday night games challenge win, and secured the coveted Head of House title which secured his spot in the finale. His confrontational nature often had him clashing with fellow housemates, but trust, he never backed down. Many wanted him out, but the tables turned, and he made it to the very end. Tenacity and authenticity at its finest.

As the final week unfolds, the battle for the crown has reached its boiling point. These housemates have fought, schemed, and clashed their way to the top, leaving nothing on the table. From strategic moves to behind-the-scenes drama, each one has made their mark on this unforgettable season. Jojo, Nate, Nsuku, Sweet Guluva, and Uyanda have all proven they're fierce contenders, but only one will rise above the chaos and snatch the crown.
