Shaka iLembe does it again. The king's story continued in the second episode of the second season and we were even more glued to our seats ... especially with the introduction of a love triangle between Princess Hletjiwe and the Ndwandwe brothers, Nomahlanjana and Sikhunyana.

So tell us: are you Team Nomahlanjana or Team Sikhunyana? The streets are already weighing in.

It wasn't all blossoming love and eyelashes aflutter in the second episode. Shaka had other things on his mind as he rallied his blossoming kingdom against impending threats, including from amongst his own ranks. But while those around him questioned his leadership, there was lots of love for Lemogang. 

As if the whispers in Shaka's ranks weren't bad enough, there was more plotting afoot over in the Mthethwa camp, thanks to Somveli, and fans were not amused.

This episode also introduced us to the Mpondo and Swati when they met with the Mthethwa and Ndwandwe respectively; and it was beatiful to see. 😍

The episode culminated in an exihilirating battle against the Buthelezi that saw Shaka and his army outmanoeuvre and outsmart their foes with clever tactics and a bold offensive. Shaka, fighting alongside his men, did not miss a moment, showcasing his leadership and loyalty and receiving it in return. Bayede wena weNdlovu!
